JWR is recruiting for a luxurious 5-star boutique hotel in the heart of Central London, and we're seeking a talented Maintenance Manager to join their dynamic and experienced team. This is a unique opportunity to manage a modern, new build with the responsibility of maintaining the exceptional standards of a boutique hotel in an iconic location.
About the Role:
As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that all aspects of the hotel's facilities and building are maintained to the highest standard. You will oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations and provide hands-on support to quickly resolve any maintenance issues that arise. The role requires someone with a proactive approach and excellent team skills.Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all maintenance activities across the property.
Conduct regular inspections of the hotel facilities to ensure that everything is operating smoothly.
Respond quickly to all maintenance issues
Manage and supervise a small and solid team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as hotel policies.
Establish maintenance procedures and systems in this brand-new hotel.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience as a Maintenance Manager in quality hotels or luxury serviced apartments
Hands-on approach with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Strong leadership skills and experience managing a small team.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
