I am working with a well-known Hotel brand who are looking for an experienced Head Housekeeper to play a key role in the housekeeping operation within a 4-star hotel in the Glasgow area.

The ideal candidate will be someone that has previous experience as a Head Housekeeper or a strong Deputy Head Housekeeper in a guest facing role within a 100-bedroom hotel. A great personality is key with a warmth and ability to build rapport quickly with your colleagues and guests with an eye for detail and be meticulous in your work, leading by example.

THE ROLE:
* As Head Housekeeper, you will be to manage the day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping Department and will be expected to assist the housekeeping team to make sure that the guest rooms, there over 100 of them, public spaces and conference rooms are kept clean and well maintained.
* You will be hands-on required to complete inspections as well as clean rooms, run the department within the budget, assist with payroll and rotas.
* As Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for recruiting, leading, training and motivating a talented team who will deliver fabulous service, putting our customers at the heart of everything they do.

* We need a Head Housekeeper who can delegate tasks, motivate the team, identify training needs and assist in their on-going personal development.
* You will be expected to handle all guest needs, enquiries, Lost Property enquiries, requests and complaints where appropriate in a prompt and efficient manner.
