Assistant Food & Beverage Manager Needed for an Exclusive Luxury 5* Hotel, Mayfair, Up To £33,000 + Bonuses + Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced F&B Manager to join an exclusive 5* hotel in the heart of fashionable Mayfair. The client is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere and are looking for experienced F&B Manager who can meet the high standards needed to cover all aspects of food & beverage. Due to the demand to servicing their discerning clients, they are looking for like minded individuals who have worked in similar 5* hotels with experience in quality food & drink to join their team on a permanent basis.
As a F&B Manager you will be responsible for:
- Some elements of profit and loss accounts
- Used to working in a 4*/5* hotel
- Driving revenue through various sales and marketing tools
- Understands all about quality
- Making sure a training & developing plan is in focus at all levels
- Good understanding about room service & standards
- Strong knowledge on steps of service
- Used to dealing with senior Directors and owners
- Be commercially minded
- Planning, organising and coming up with creative working ideas
- Passionate about customer service
- Strong man management skills
- Be able to think on their feet and come up with conclusive ideas
- Identifying problems and reacting to resolve the issues
- Be able to deal with costs in line with sales
The Ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced in a similar quality boutique 4*/5* hotels environment
- Be able to work with a small team
- Must have strong financial understanding including gross profit margins & costs
- Must have quality food & beverage background
- Understanding of International cuisine would be an advantage
- Be able to work in a high demanding environment
- Able to instruct clear instructions to the senior management team and staff members
- Good commercial knowledge of London
- Understand about strategies
- Must be flexible in working hours
- Confident in dealing with owner/Directors
- Used to being in similar high level hotel background
- Be proactive and being able to think on their feet
- Used to dealing with different types of clientele with customer service being the top priority
