We are seeking an exceptional Head Chef to lead the team at a prestigious fine dining restaurant located in the heart of South West London. Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Development: Curate and execute an innovative and seasonal menu, focusing on British cuisine, while incorporating creative flair and fine dining techniques.
- Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and develop a passionate kitchen team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages growth, creativity, and professionalism.
- Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including stock control, ordering, and maintaining health and safety standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure consistency and excellence in every dish that leaves the kitchen, maintaining the highest culinary standards.
- Training and Development: Mentor junior chefs, guiding their career development and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef in a 3AA Rosettes or above, or Michelin-starred kitchens, with a strong focus on British cuisine.
- Exceptional culinary creativity and a keen eye for detail in presentation and flavor.
- Inspiring leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for using locally-sourced, high-quality ingredients and a deep understanding of British food traditions.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining a positive and productive kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A great team spirit and commitment to fostering a supportive and collaborative kitchen culture.
