LOCATION: Near Birmingham

We're searching for a Financial Controller / Finance Manager to oversee the financial heartbeat of this dynamic operation. Whether you're an ambitious Assistant FC ready to level up or a seasoned FC eager for a larger challenge, this opportunity is tailored for growth.
What You'll Be Doing:- Steering daily reconciliations across departments, from tills to bank statements, encompassing all payment types (cash, cards, PDQ machines).
- Managing accounts correspondence and emails with precision.
- Delivering daily sales reports to Heads of Department.
- Overseeing payment runs, including BACS and CHAPS.
- Collaborating with the head office finance team to prepare seamless month-end accounts.
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, and actual vs. forecast analyses to drive financial performance.
Who You Are:
- A proven performer with experience in hotel accounts, ideally at Assistant FC level or above.
- A strategic thinker with an eye for business dynamics and a knack for problem-solving.
- Cool, calm, and collected under pressure with exceptional communication skills (both written and spoken).
- Analytical and insightful, with the ability to decode financial data and market trends.
- Ideally rooted in a hospitality background, giving you the edge in understanding hotel operations.
