A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Late Night Assistant General Manager who would be interested in a unique opportunity. They want a all rounded Manager of the future, if you're willing to put in the hard work and focus on the goals then they will help you to achieve it.
The Assistant General Manager will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of our bar, working closely with the General Manager and leadership team. This role requires an individual who is not only operationally adept but also passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, managing a high-performing team, and driving business growth. The AGM will have a key focus on ensuring smooth operations, optimizing guest experiences, and contributing to the financial success of the business.
Job Description
As an Assistant General Manager you will be responsible for:
- Training & developing staff at all levels
- Cocktail creations & costings
- Be able to manage the busy bar
- Profit & loss accountable
- Be commercially minded
- Inventory control
- Planning, organising and coming up with creative working ideas
- Passionate about customer service
- Be very guest focused
- Strong man management skills
- Be able to think on their feet and come up with conclusive ideas
- Identifying problems and reacting to resolve the issues
- Be able to deal with costs in line with sales
- Keeping up to date with licensing legislation, liaising with the authorities and taking overall legal responsibility for the premises
The Ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced in a similar premuim high end cocktail bar or members club at General Manager or above level
- Must have high end cocktail experience
- Be able to work with teams of over 30+ staff
- Must have some profit & loss understanding
- Personality is key
- Understanding of events
- Must have worked with live DJ's & musicians
- Must have experience in stock taking & inventories
- Be able to work in a high demanding environment
- Used to high volume
- Able to instruct clear instructions to the senior management team and staff members
- Good understanding about cocktails & creations
- Must be flexible in working late night hours
- Dealing with Directors
- Licence holder
- Used to being in a customer service background
- Be proactive and being able to think on their feet
- Used to dealing with different types of clientele with customer service being the top priority
The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills along with the passion and commitment in driving excellent service to the clientele and a proven track record in the high end premuim cocktail bar or members clubs.
