An exciting opportunity has arisen for Experienced Sous Chef or above to join an expanding fresh food gastro pub company in the Benfleet Essex areas. The restaurant offers great food with regular menu changes. The client and is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere. They are looking for an experienced Sous Chef who can deliver the highest levels of quality food their refined customers. They are looking for like-minded individuals who have worked in similar upmarket fresh food restaurants with experience at Head Chef level to join their team on a permanent basis.
REQUIREMENTS
- Passion for cooking with creative ingredients
- A leader not a boss
- A creative flair
- Managing a large team of up to 8+
- MUST have fresh food experience
- Used to working in a quality environment
- Branded or independent backgrounds welcome
- Likes to train and develop others
- Must be able to deal with daily/weekly and seasonal menu changes
- Likes to be hands on and lead the team from the front
- Experience with GP, costing, wastage management, ordering, stock etc..
- Strong health & safety knowledge
- A stable work history
