A Stunning and luxurious Country House Hotel within the county of Cheshire is seeking a Head Housekeeper to manage the general day to day cleanliness of this award-winning hotel.
The ideal candidate will be someone that has previous experience as a Head Housekeeper or a strong Deputy Head Housekeeper in a guest facing role within 4-star hotels. A great personality is key for this role with a warmth and ability to build rapport quickly with your colleagues and guests.
To be successful in this role, you will have an eye for detail and be meticulous in your work, leading by example.

The Role:
As Head Housekeeper, your responsibilities will be to manage the day to day operation of the Housekeeping Department and will be expected to assist the housekeeping team of 30 to make sure that the guest rooms, there over 150 of them, and public spaces and conference rooms are kept clean and well maintained.

* You will be hands-on required to complete inspections as well as clean rooms, run the department within the budget constraints, assist with payroll and rotas.
* You will delegate tasks, motivate the team, identify training needs, and assist in their on-going personal development.
* You will be expected to handle all guest needs, enquiries, Lost Property enquiries, requests and complaints where appropriate in a prompt and efficient manner.
