Job Requirements
As Head Chef in this talented team you will be overseeing a team of Chefs, where you will lead and manage your team from the front-line. You will need to be hands on and want to continue to develop your skills within the kitchen whilst helping to coach and develop the team around you, serving all your customers with excellence every time.You will have experience working within a similar high-volume, seasonal operation, serving quality food to a good standard.
The Hotel has recently re-positioned itself as one of the leading 4* family hotels in the area.

- Proven track record in delivering high quality food in a time pressured environment.
- Responsible for the ordering and controlling of stock.
- Passionate about food, standards & results understand the importance of company standards.
- Experience as a Head chef within a similar Hotel/pub/restaurant environment particularly in high volume environment
- Manage the opening and closing of the kitchen.
- Deliver excellent customer service, at all times & to pay attention to detail in all aspects of the customer journey.
- Prepare, cook and present food quickly and efficiently, meeting house standards.
- Work safely around kitchen equipment, monitor and deal with any maintenance issues.
- Manage all kitchen related office administration.
- Manage and maintain correct staffing levels.
- Identify and take an active role in the recruitment of new staff members.
- To coach individual team members to develop their skills and maximise performance.
- Maintain accurate food ordering, stocking levels & monitoring, including all kitchen materials.
- Assist in achieving financial targets set out for the business.
- Have a flexible approach to working hours.
- Ensure that the kitchen operations comply with all the company's and statutory requirements including Health and Safety at Work Act and Food Hygiene Regulations.
- Be involved and contribute at team meetings.
- Carry out instructions given by the management team.
