Iconic venue which focuses on multi faceted events from nightclub, sport screening, comedy night, live acts and much more has unique opportunity for a Venues Facilities & Maintenance Assistant to join the team.
You'll be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring the venue runs like clockwork. From hands-on maintenance tasks to occasional admin duties, you'll support our managers and help create a seamless experience for our guests. Job Details
- Reporting to: General Manager or daytime duty managers.
- Key Relationships: Management, Bar, Floor, and Tech teams.
- Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum (depending on experience).
- Hours: Mostly Mon-Fri, with some evening and weekend shifts as needed.
- Leave: 20 days per annum plus bank holidays.

What You'll Do
- Lead Repairs & Maintenance: Stay on top of all repair needs across departments.
- Manage Furniture: Oversee furniture counts and upkeep.
- Order Supplies: Handle operational stock ordering and manage deliveries.
- Maintain Spaces: Keep all internal and external areas in top condition.
- Ensure Safety: Maintain the highest levels of health and safety and report issues immediately.
- Support Events: Work with event promoters to ensure smooth load-ins and problem-solve any venue setup issues.
- Team Player: Be ready to jump in and support other departments, helping maintain the venue's reputation.
Must-Haves:
- Physically fit with experience in handling deliveries and maintaining goods.
- Skilled in general building maintenance-painting, fixing furnishings, etc.
- Familiar with basic admin tasks (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Experience setting up and breaking down events.
- Positive, can-do attitude and a strong team player.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Electrical or plumbing experience.
- Experience leading ordering processes and stock checks.
- Comfortable managing data.
