Lighting Technician & Designer - Freelance - Clapham
About the Role:
We are looking for imaginative lighting technicians and designers to join our awesome tech and production crew. If you're a Chamsys lighting whiz and have a passion for making live events-from Drag shows to Comedy gigs, Club Nights, and even Wrestling-look absolutely stunning, we want to hear from you!
You should be able to take direction from producers while also bringing your own creative flair to the table. If you have some basic knowledge of sound and AV, that's a bonus, but it's not a deal-breaker.
This gig starts as a freelance role, but there's definitely potential for growth. With the right attitude and skills, you could see more responsibilities and even transition to full-time hours. There are plenty of freelance shifts up for grabs for the right person.
What You'll Do:
- Report to the Duty Manager and General Manager.
- Work closely with on-duty technicians and external promoters.
- Make each show look as fantastic as possible while keeping client satisfaction top of mind.
Shift Details
- Shift hours will vary depending on the schedule, which will incorporate a mixture of day and late night events, with shifts assigned on a weekly/monthly basis based on your availability.
