Our client is a deluxe four-star hotel group that is currently recruiting for a Meeting and Events Manager. Offering large meeting and events facilities, the role will offer a significant challenge for the suitable candidate in a department that is key to the hotel. To be considered you will have an excellent background as C&B or M&E Operations Manager working in large 4 star branded hotels or conference centres that can accommodate IRO of 350 covers plus.
Conference and Banqueting Manager
* The ideal Meeting and Events Manager will have previous 4 star branded hotel experience or worked within a large conference centre.
* You will be responsible for staff development and ensuring high levels of customer service.
* With a proven track record in Conferences & Meetings, Weddings, dinners and other social Events, you will lead a team of full time and casual staff who have been with the hotel a long time.
* The Meeting & Events Manager must be able to demonstrate your strong leadership skills & the ability to develop a large team
* This role requires you to be flexible in dealing with work demands & changing priorities, be proactive and able to work under pressure.
* Conference and Banqueting Manager must be highly customer focused, good communication skills and the ability to manage the team effectively.
