As our client continues to expand, we are looking for a visionary Head of Revenue & Insight to drive our ancillary sales strategy and revenue optimisation.
Role Overview:
The Head of Revenue & Insight will be responsible for maximizing revenue across all channels, with a particular focus on ancillary sales. You will lead the development and implementation of dynamic pricing strategies, optimize booking journeys, and extract actionable insights from data to inform strategic decisions. This role is pivotal to enhancing the customer experience while driving commercial success through innovative revenue models.
You will have experience in sectors where ancillary sales are a key component of the customer booking journey, such as hotels, airlines, car rental companies, or holiday villages. You will bring a deep understanding of how to create value from every booking, leveraging dynamic data and market trends to deliver strong financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Optimisation: Develop and execute multi-channel revenue strategies that increase ancillary sales and total revenue per booking, with a focus on pre-booking, in-stay, and post-stay opportunities.
Data-Led Insights: Lead the data and analytic function to derive actionable insights on customer behaviour, booking trends, and performance to inform pricing, inventory management, and product offerings.
Booking Journey Enhancement: Continuously improve the digital and direct booking experiences, ensuring frictionless customer journeys that maximise conversion and upsell opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and product development teams to align strategies and deliver a cohesive customer experience.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing revenue and analytic team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Market & Competitor Analysis: Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity, adjusting strategies to capture new opportunities and safeguard market share.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in a revenue management or insight role within sectors such as hotels, airlines, car rental, holiday villages, or a closely related field.
Strong understanding of ancillary sales strategies and the ability to maximise revenue from all customer touchpoints.
Deep analytic skills with proficiency in revenue management systems and data analytic tools.
