Pub with Rooms - OxfordJWR is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead the team at of a Premium Pub with rooms in the Oxford area. Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and cleanliness are maintained.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and motivate a diverse team of hospitality professionals. Foster a positive work environment that encourages growth and development.
- Guest Experience: Uphold the groups commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences. Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to feedback promptly.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and optimise profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Marketing and Promotion: Promote the property locally and enhance its reputation within the community and online.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Deputy/General Manager in the hospitality industry, ideally within a similar upscale pub or boutique hotel environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound financial management abilities.
- Knowledge of current trends in food, beverage, and hospitality.
