Head Receptionist Needed for an Exclusive 5* Members Club, Mayfair, Up To £34,000 + Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head Receptionist to join an exclusive 5* members club in the heart of fashionable Mayfair. The client is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere and are looking for experienced Head Reception who can meet the high standards needed to cover the reception desk. Due to the demand to servicing their discerning clients, they are looking for like minded individuals who have worked in similar 5* hotels or members clubs with experience as Head Reception to join their team on a permanent basis.
Job Description
As a Head Receptionist you will be responsible for:
- Check in-check out duties
- All aspects of guest relations
- Producing reports
- Training & developing staff
- Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
- Assisting in general enquiries from the members including bookings, giving quotes, invoicing and general reception duties
- Conducting end of day reports
- Attending regular heads of department meetings
- Dealing with Directors and board committee's
- Follow company and department procedures
- Having good admin skills
- Help assist and support Co - workers
- Identifying problems and reacting to resolve the issues
The Ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced in a similar Head Reception role within high end hotels or members clubs
- Be able to work within a small team and individually
- Be able to work in a high demanding environment
- Being an ambassidor and promoting excellent standards in a professional manner
- Understand the important of dealing with members and have high service levels
- A positive 'can do' attitude and well-groomed appearance
- Have good telephone manners
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends
- Being able to act upon different situations in a precise and professional manner
- Able to follow clear instructions from your seniors
- Used to dealing with reports
- Be able to train & develop follow team members
- Regular staff appraisals and development plans going forward
- Being proactive and being able to think on their feet
- Used to dealing with different types of clientele with customer service being the top priority
The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills along with the passion and commitment in driving excellent service to the clientele and a proven track record in front office reception in a hotel or members club environment.
