We are seeking a dynamic Venue General Manager to oversee the seamless delivery of hospitality and refreshments for a premier sporting stadia. This is an exceptional leadership role, ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for creating unforgettable fan experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Delivery: Direct the end-to-end delivery of hospitality, concessions, and refreshment services before and during events, ensuring every detail runs smoothly.
- Team Leadership: Manage, inspire, and coordinate a large, diverse team, from front-line hospitality staff to logistics crews, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Logistics & Planning: Oversee event logistics, from setup to shut down, coordinating with catering, security, and operations teams for flawless execution.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure high standards of safety and security, maintaining strict compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Commercial Focus: Drive commercial success by optimising sales opportunities and enhancing customer satisfaction through high-quality service.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in Venue Operations: Proven track record in managing operations within large-scale venues, particularly in sports or live entertainment.
- Leadership Skills: Strong people-management experience, with the ability to inspire and lead large teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercial Savvy: Demonstrated business acumen with an eye for driving revenue while delivering memorable customer experiences.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Resourceful and adaptable, with the ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
