Salary: £45,000 + Share of Service Charge + Fantastic Company BenefitsAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Restaurant General Manager to join/Lead the team at a brand-new opening in the heart of Leeds City Centre. This is a unique chance to lead a dynamic and growing restaurant operation within a stylish Eastern Mediterranean-inspired venue, overseeing a 140-cover restaurant, cocktail bars, and private dining rooms.
As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for:
Recruiting, managing, and developing a passionate and skilled team that delivers exceptional service in a Mediterranean dining environment.
Overseeing all daily operations of the restaurant, cocktail bars, and private dining spaces, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Taking full ownership of a £1.4 million business, driving its growth and profitability through strong leadership and attention to detail.
Ensuring high standards of service, food quality, and ambience are maintained, consistently exceeding customer expectations.
Leading by example, showing enthusiasm, passion, and a strong work ethic to inspire your team.
Managing the financials of the restaurant, including controlling costs, driving revenue, and optimising profitability.
What we're looking for:
A proven track record as a Restaurant General Manager, ideally from a high-end, high street restaurant offering, with experience in Mediterranean or similar cuisine.
Demonstrable experience in recruiting, training, and managing teams, with the ability to inspire and lead others to success.
Passion for hospitality, with a genuine love for delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining top-tier service standards.
A strong understanding of business operations, including financial management, cost control, and driving profitability.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with both team members and guests.
Strong leadership qualities, a proactive approach, and the drive to take ownership of a thriving and prestigious establishment.
