We are looking for a passionate and driven Meeting and Events Sales Manager to help take the business to the next level. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves building relationships with clients, and has a flair for selling outstanding hospitality products, we'd love to speak to you!Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership: Manage and drive the sales of the meeting, conference, and event offerings. Identify, approach, and secure business from a wide range of clients, including corporate, social, and leisure sectors.
Team Management: Oversee and support a small sales team to ensure targets are met and customers receive exceptional service. Inspire and develop your team to excel in their roles.
Client Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with clients and external partners. Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Event Coordination: Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the smooth execution of all meetings and events, ensuring client satisfaction at every touchpoint.
Reporting: Report directly to the Hotel Sales Manager, providing insights on sales performance, team progress, and market trends.
Flexibility: While the majority of the role will be Monday to Friday, occasional evening or weekend meetings may be required to meet the needs of the business.
The Ideal Candidate:
Hotel Industry Experience: A strong background in hotel sales, preferably with previous experience in meeting and events sales.
Client Relationship Expertise: Ability to build lasting relationships and network effectively with a diverse client base.
Sales Focused: Proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets in a competitive market.
Leadership Skills: Experience in managing and mentoring a team to success.
Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Organised & Detail-Oriented: Ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proactive and Solution-Oriented: A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and overcoming challenges to ensure success for both clients and the business.
