ROLE: Sales Office Manager - 4-Star Hotel
LOCATION: Birmingham
SALARY: £35,000 per year

JWR is proud to be working with a prestigious 4-star hotel in Birmingham to recruit an experienced Sales Office Manager for a fully office-based, hands-on role. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead in a well-established and friendly Sales Office team.

We're looking for a proactive, people-focused leader to manage and support the daily operations of the sales office, ensuring a high standard of service and smooth coordination across all enquiries and bookings.

The Role:
As a Sales Office Manager, you will be the central figure in the day-to-day running of the sales office, working closely with your team and other departments to deliver outstanding service and efficient operations.
* Lead and manage a team of 3 experienced Sales Executives handling conference, event, and group bookings.
* Take a hands-on approach to support the team, stepping in during busy periods to manage enquiries and ensure deadlines are met.
* Oversee the preparation and accuracy of function sheets, ensuring all operational details are clearly communicated to relevant teams.
* Conduct daily or weekly meetings with the operations team to review upcoming events and requirements.
* Produce regular sales forecasts, track performance against targets, and keep an eye on market trends and competitor activity.

What We're Looking For:
* A proven background as a Sales Office Manager in a busy 4-star hotel, ideally within a branded or conference-focused property.
* Strong experience in reactive sales, with a solid understanding of revenue strategy and KPI management.
* Confident in using hotel booking systems, particularly Opera.
* Experience leading a small, skilled team - with the ability to motivate, mentor, and get involved in the day-to-day tasks.
* Comfortable handling a high volume of enquiries while ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and excellent customer service throughout.
